South Dakota Computer Science Teacher of the Year Award

We are thrilled to announce the first-ever South Dakota Computer Science Teacher of the Year Award, brought to you by the CSTA-SD Leadership Board. This award is designed to honor and recognize the incredible efforts of K-12 computer science teachers who inspire and motivate our students to explore and excel in this essential field.

Why This Award Matters

Computer science is a cornerstone of modern education and essential for preparing our students for the future. Through this award, we aim to spotlight the educators who dedicate themselves to not only teaching but also inspiring their students to achieve more in the realm of computer science.

Who Can Be Nominated?

Any K-12 educator who teaches computer science in any South Dakota school is eligible. They don’t need to be certified through the PRAXIS exam pathway or be current CSTA members. We’re looking for stories of innovation, dedication, and passion!
